Very useful error messages: 1) When opening an iCloud Drive spreadsheet that was created on a Mac, I get this: "The file filename couldn't be opened." It seems every time I relent (I avoided iCloud for years) and try their creations, I run into stupid problems that take more time to solve than the actual work I'm doing. ios 15.0.2 excel v2.54 not opening files stored on iphone when on LTE I have a bunch of xlsx files stored on my iPhone. When I'm at home and on WiFi I have no problems opening any of the excel files stored on my phone however if I turn off my WiFi and then try to open the excel files I get an error saying "Opening: [FILENAME]... Downloading from iPhone..." and it just hangs up. My wife is on the same excel version but still on iOS 14.8 she has no issues opening the same file saved on her iPhone (on WiFi or LTE) so it seems like the bug is on iOS 15.0.2. Any known fixes I could try?

Files app downloads forever I sync a number of files using iCloud Drive between my devices. However, I can’t download any of the files using my iPhone - clicking it to start a download just gives me a loading image with text saying “Waiting”. Have left it for over 6 hours just trying to download a 1MB PDF, but the download doesn’t start. Using cellular data and wifi result in the same issue. Background app refresh has been turned on, and I’m not on low data mode. Haven’t been able to find any solutions - anyone else faces this issue?

Hi Lkm273, thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're unable to access files within the Files app over cellular data. By any chance, do you also use iCloud Drive on your iOS device? If so, can you go into Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data) > iCloud Drive and check to see if it's enabled? Also, are you using the latest iOS software version (iOS 14.7)? Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
