Vertical lines with Big Sur mid 2015 MacBook Pro Retina display `

Why verticals….MacBook sitting on desk unattended untouched. Was in the off state. I turned on and verticals (as in lines of color across macbook screen but mirrored or extension screens perfect. Why? Seems fishy like is the computer really off when “off”? Anyone on the lines?

macOS Ventura flickering screen I updated my Macbook Air M1 to Ventura on Monday 24 Oct. Within a few hours my screen started to flicker. I rebuild the machine using a USB drive (Create a bootable installer for macOS - Apple Support) After a few hours it started again. I notice this happens when I am using IntelliJ Idea Ultimate. Has anyone else encounter this issue? Perhaps when doing something that will use up a lot resources? I don't mind going back to Monterey I just hate the long process of rebuilding/setting up a machine.

Internal display not detected Okay so I put my laptop to sleep and when I opened it again my macbook won't detect internal display, I attached a hdmi cable and it worked perfectly (on the external screen). I'm not sure why my internal screen isn't visible. I performed multiple operations to fix it. Hard reset, installed mac OS again. Everything. Nothing worked. I rebooted to safe mode and the screen came but it was faulty (attached a pic). Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Thunderbolt Display black after update from Monterey to Ventura Mac Mini M1 After updating my Mac Mini M1 from Monterey to Ventura my Thunderbolt screen remains black. The M1 is working flawlessly over HDMI, the same for the Thunderbolt Display attached to a 2014 Mini with Monterey which I'm using right now.

If the issue only affects the built-in display, then the built-in Display is bad. You will need to have Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider examine the laptop to provide you with a repair estimate.
