Is there a way to not have Apple Music default to playing songs from my downloads over wifi? My lossless settings are different for each.

So I have my lossless settings to download in high quality but stream in Lossless over wifi. Whenever I play a track over wifi that is also in my library, it defaults to playing the one downloaded, which obviously isn’t lossless as I said. This doesn’t make any sense. Why would I have it set to play a song in lossless over wifi if I wanted to listen to it in 256 instead? In what scenario would I ever need to listen to a downloaded version when wifi is available? 14.7 fixed the 15 second cut out just fine (thanks), but I’m still not having a great experience using lossless or Dolby Atmos (which I have given up on and turned off due to it STILL not working). Would really like to just have smooth listening experience with lossless at least. Running iOS version 14.7.

iPhone 12, iOS 14

Hi Philament23,

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities! We understand that you're looking to see if you're able to have your Music app default to streaming your content instead of listening to your downloaded content. There isn't a feature to adjust this setting. However, we'd suggest leaving your feedback directly to Apple about this at Product Feedback.

Take care.
