iCloud merge from iPhone to iPad

I merged my notes app from my phone to my iPad but lost some of the notes on my phone. How do I get them back??

I decided to sync the iPad but unfortunately now I don't have any of my unsynced notes from when I was using the iPad without the cloud. How do I get the notes back from when I was just using the notes app itself? To clarify, all I did was sync the iPad notes app to the rest of my devices. Notes, iCloud I deleted all notes data from my iPad and it deleted all my notes data on my phone as well. If it’s possible I would like to have my notes back since the information there was really valuable. I need my notes on my phone not as much as my iPad. Please put them back into the app.

Notes lost after synchronize with icloud Hi, I have been using my IPAD for a while to write notes and became aware they were not synchronizing with my iphone. So I went and turn on icloud sync. on the ipad, however the result is that I have now lost all my existing notes. I remember that I receive a box saying "combine" but from what I can see I have now just lost all my notes. I would truly appreciate your help on how to restore. I have a security copy from yesterday before I made the change, could that be use to restore the notes? thank you

Where were the Notes? See the pic below. You will get your answer

The recently deleted folder will exist only if you deleted Notes from iCloud or from the "On My Phone" Folder. Deletion from other Folders does not use Recently Deleted Sub-Folder.
