Automatic iOS system updates have never worked on my iPad or iPhone. I always have to rely on Apple News to discover if one is available. I never even receive a notification for an iOS update!!
What is the fix for this??

Really? I get pestered about updating my device every time I turn it on, even if I don't want an update.

I get all updates for the apps on my iOS devices, but not for operating system updates.
