I am seeing Medical Id on my lock screen before powering off my device. However, I have not set up the medical id. I also checked in my setting and found this function is not selected to show on my locked screen? Please help!?!?

Is it clamped in a holder in the vehicle, or did you handle it in such a way, so as to hold in thr vol down plus side button?
If you slide it across what does it show?
If it’s empty then great.
If it shows your medical info then you must have entered some. The important thing is if it is offered to a stranger in the Lock Screen emergency function. The function you describe is only offered to you I.e. while unlocked.
What happens if you slide that open? Do you see anything in the Medical ID? I believe it is just there for emergency personnel to use if you have it set up.
change the data in Settings, Health Medical ID
You don't need to wait for it to pop up. We could be waiting for weeks!
Hold in the side and volume down buttons til you see it then slide the slider.
It is interesting that they are out of line like that. I have my Medical ID filled in, but I don't believe me wife does. She has an iPhone 12 and I will take a look at hers in about an hour or so when she comes home from work and I'll let you know if it shows on her device. In the mean time, if you wish, you can contact Apple Support using the Get Support link at the top of the page here, or you can wait until I post again and decide then.
On older phones like iphone 7 it is only available on lock screen/emergency
On notch phones it is also on shut down screen

Thats the thing its not always there. I see it 5 out of 10 times during a reset. Normally if my device is running supper slow I will power on and off and typically its there. I just checked and it is not there. Not sure. However I have tried to slide it before and was unable.
So it just popped up and I was able to slide it. Nothing happened after I slide the option for medical Id. I also checked the medical ID option which shows the following…Also this has happened while in my vehicle each time. What could this be?
When I was unable to access Safari I went to power it off by pressing the side buttons and thats when the medical Id option popped up. I then slide the button my phone froze for a moment then nothing.
Correction, it shows on the power off screen. This happens periodically but it’s not reoccuring. I have no medical id info setup/entered.
I have a Iphone 12. I have also checked the health setting and there is no medical id information entered. I just noticed again on the power off screen that the medical id option is still there.
There is nothing wrong with having the slider. That is normal.
As ChrisJ4203 says it should be a bit higher up. I wouldn’t worry.
My wife already had her Medical ID configured, so I cannot check. You never replied to what happens if you slide the Medical ID slider. Are you seeing any information?
