Where does my music come from?

So here's my situation. I have an iphone X that has a LOT of music on it. Thousands of songs that I painstakingly scanned my CD's and downloads to the Iphone. I was very good at backing up my phone regularly to my non apple PC. The tragically my PC died and wiped everything off of it. I still have all the music on my iphone. My question is this, when I buy a new iphone, does it transfer the music from the old to the new? Meaning ALL the musci from the old iphone will go to the new? Also if i plug my iphone into itunes on my new computer and sync, will it transfer all my iphone music to the backup or will it wipe my iphone of all the music?

Absolutely not!

Excellent. Hopefully you were just as good at backing up your PC, as that will have to be the repository used to rebuild your music collection. An iPhone can never serve as such a repository.
