New iPhone and New Sim Card Transfer Question

So recently I bought an unlocked iPhone XS and was transferring my data from my iPhone 6 Plus. After using quickstart I was going to use a new sim card in my XS because my iPhone 6 plus had issues and would not take a sim card. If I use a new sim card in my phone, will I lose my old phone number?
