Aol mail stopped working on all of my 3 macs running outlook365 for mac. does anyone know what has to be done to get it working again. i deleted and reinstalled the aol mail address but it still wont work. had same issues with ios devices (iphone and ipad pro) but after deleting them and re adding the aol email addresses they work fine.
Generally Microsoft Office 365 can "alias" other email accounts in your Office 365 website settings.
Better would be to have your AOL email to forward to your Outlook account, if you prefer to use the web version of Outlook.
http://mail.aol.com/ has all the configuration you need.
And if you aren't depending on Outlook's calendar or addressbook, you can use IMAP settings for AOL on Mac OS X Mail, and Exchange settings for your Outlook account and have both show in Mac OS X Mail.
Office 365 web version has more favorite flag settings than either Mac OS X Mail, or the stand alone Outlook for Mac.
So it really depends how you want to manage your email.
