Macbook Pro keyboard
My MacBook pro keeps looking for a Bluetooth Keyboard upon awakening. Why would it do that when it has its own keyboard? It even does it when I've turned Bluetooth off.

Okay, I tried it. It will probably be a few days before I know if it worked, since the problem happens intermittently.
Thanks.
Stating what exact Mac and what exact macOS you are running—will assist in getting the help and useful insight to your issue. There are at least 52 models of MBP released since January 2006.
When the issue returns—
Hold the Shift Option keys and click open the BT icon in the upper right menubar—>Remove all devices/Reset All Devices/Reset the BT module.
There are many Continuity functions between Mac and iOS device that depend on both WiFi and Bluetooth being turned on.
