How do I get my phone photo albums to be visible on my imac

I have imported my iphone photos to my Imac and I can see them all in the library but how do I get the albums on my phone to be available on my Imac?

By using iCloud photos to sync. That is the only way to sync library structure and edits, as well as photos. You need an iCloud plan with sufficient space for your whole library.
