Need to connect my Apple TV to wifi without remote

You will need a functional remote to adjust the network settings.

Using the software remote on an iPhone or iPad is only available if both devices are already on the same network.

Your options are:

• buy a replacement Siri Remote;
• buy a replacement old style Apple Remote (aluminum) to help set up the software remote;
• temporarily borrow an Apple Remote to help set up the software remote;
• restore the Apple TV and connect a wireless keyboard to set up the device and help set up the software remote.
