iwatch 5 not charging any more after ios 7.5 update

Anybody else that has this problem, my watch is out of warranty and it stopped charging after the ios 7.5 update after a battery drain: battery only lasted 6 hours and now it doesn’t charge anymore.

in service center it is been declared as to be repaired for 350 euro!!!! Allmost new price.

there is a service recall for ios 7.2 and 7.3 but not for this 7.5 all though the problem is exactly the same and I have to pay for the repair. What a crappy product only lasting for 1 year and 9 months!!

You can try these steps:

If your Apple Watch won't charge or it won't turn on - Apple Support

If the battery drains too fast after an update, see all the replies to:

Update 6.2.1 Battery Draining Too Quickly… - Apple Community

Battery Drain since watchos 7.4 - Apple Community

FWIW, in some cases, unpairing the watch, completely erasing it, then pairing and restoring the backup will resolve the battery draining issue after an update. (Simply unpairing and pairing again may not work.)

Unpair and erase your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Also, some people have found that simply waiting a few days after an update resolves the battery draining problem.

it is unpaired and deleted from the iphone, however the battery is so now, it doesn’t charge anymore, so no longer possible to connect to the iphone.

apple claims a full repair, and I’m convinced it is a software issue that crashes my watch, they ask 350 euro repair cost, almost new price.

so very disappointed and I will stop buying apple products since quality and warranty support is really poor.

since the shop was really full with quality claims, I thunk apple has very high price low quality products.

as a shareholder I’m doubting to keep investing in such company
