Dark Line on Apple Watch 6 Screen

I lost my Apple Watch 4 and upgraded to Apple 6 today; brand new, out of the box, directly from Apple. At the completion of the set-up I noticed a dark(er) vertical line (North/South) on the face that varies in how obvious it is based on the displayed image but it is DEFINITELY there. Accomplished hard reset but still there. I have NOT unpaired yet but would be surprised if THAT action fixed this type issue that a hard reset did not. Any ideas or did I get the Lemon?
