Office 365 2fa keeps rejecting my Mail Password

I can re-add the account, but it will stop working after a few hours.

How can I stop Mail from rejecting my account?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.0

Unable to Use Apple 2FA with Mail I’m trying to add my Live account to the built-in Apple Mail app. The password field is automatically detected, and filled, but the 2FA field isn’t. I can’t continue because the account is added from the Settings app and I can only copy the verification code from the same. If I copy a code beforehand, it is expired by the time I get to the 2FA screen. When adding a Gmail account, the 2FA verification field was automatically detected so this wasn’t an issue. Is there any workaround for this?
