photo albums problems

I have macOS 10.15.7 with all the patches. I accidentally somehow added all my photos to RECENT album. can I just select and delete them and they are only removed from this album. I had/have a smart album for all the photos which were not in an album, so I could organize them. but now it doesn't work since everything is in recent?

also anyone having problems with the Apple 'Panorama' album. I take a few panorama videos, and they do not automatically go into the 'panorama folder'. the other automatic folders seem to work ok,

like, videos, selfies, etc.. Why doesn't Panorama automatic populate.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.15

Everything will appear in recents, at least in my library they do, in reverse order. But, you don't need to get them out. All of your images should appear in Library. Recents is kind of like Imports, where everything imported goes.

You can find all pictures not in an album by using a smart album:

Not sure about panoramas, but I suspect they have to have some height/width ratio to appear there.

I didn't notice it right away, so NO to the 'UnDo'. however, the more basic question, if the 'recent' album is a smart album created by Apple, how did ALL 6500 of my photos get into it? how do I get them out ??

Also, why doesn't the 'panorama' smart album that was created by Apple work properly. I have numerous panoramas, but only 3 have been added to the 'panorama' album. ??

I'll take a look at the link provided. thanks

I tried the " command + delete " command , per the instructions in the Apple link. it deleted it from the 'recent' folder, BUT it also removed it from my smart album " Not in Any album". so it's not in 'recent' but it also isn't in any other album , so how do I get it to reappear in the 'Not in Any Smart Album'. THAT IS THE REAL GOAL HERE. I need to see which photos that I have not stored in My albums. I don't really care where Apple put them ?

UGH. this seems like a bug. the user should not be able to add photos to 'recent' in the first place. it has to be some kind of smart album. yet all my photos are now in it. ??
