Macbook Air camera detected but not working after 11.5.1 update

At first, on Catalina and higher os camera was not even detected by facetime.

just before the update somehow facetime/photobooth was working just perfect.

Post updating, back to the square one of camera not working properly.


Details:

green light blinking.

Looks like the camera driver is getting aborted and starting again.

Suggestion: A camera driver update could fix this issue.


Device: Macbook Air 2015

OS: Big Sur 11.5.1
