Dolby Atmos Not Working With Headphones or Car After iOS 14.7.1

I have really been enjoying Dolby Atmos and hope the spacial audio library will expand exponentially. Though, after updating my iPhone 11 to the most recent version (iOS 14.7.1), Dolby Atmos is not working in my Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones or in my car (via lightning cable) even though Dolby Atmos is set to always on. This was not a problem before this update. Dolby Atmos still works with my iPhone 11 speakers and 2nd generation AirPods, but anything outside of the Apple ecosystem isn't working. I have tried turning Dolby Atmos off and on again, but that hasn't worked. The reason why I believe the software update is to blame for this is because Dolby Atmos is working just fine with my Sony headphones on my MacBook Pro, which I haven't updated to the latest version yet. I'm wondering if others are having this issue and if Apple could investigate the latest software update.

Plugged in my Bose sports and the Bluetooth beats sound exponentially better. Andrew6497, even with my beats, I was having trouble getting the phone to register in Atmos. Before and after the 14.7.1 update. I personally feel there’s a LOT of techies trying to derail Atmos. I recommend 1.completely closing Music App 2.turning off Bluetooth 3.Restarting phone 4.resetting audio device 5.quickly turning on Bluetooth, connecting device, and pressing play. Hopefully a security update will resolve something in the coming future …

Starting 2 weeks ago the volume in my car (2008 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE Coupe) Bose stock/factory Stereo & car speakers decreased by 50% no matter how high or low i put the volume or which audio mode (radio, cd, aux) i tried. And the bluetooth Hands Free Calls Only phone set up feature volume decreased alot as well.

For the past 2 weeks I have been going nuts in my car and on my phone, clicking, searching, pressing buttons, messing with stuff idk about, searching, clicking, twisting, & pulling everything in site like im freaking DeeDee from old cartoon Dextors Laboratory.. Nothing Worked!

i’m a girl that does not kno anything about electronics, electrical or cars, Nor did i know where/who to take it to to find the problem & solution. In the end I just reached out to every guy I knew to individually come & take take a look, because I figured eventually at least one of them would figure it out.
