Yes the iCloud is sync’d. Yes all contacts are up to date. Yes I’ve got great signal a d good Wi-fi.
everyday the iPhone will lose half the contact names and only show phone numbers.
This is a fault with the phone or the mobile carrier signal (Virgin Mobile UK for me) or the iOS version update or iCloud. Please can Apple investigate and not fob us off with iCloud sync issues.

From what you are explaining it sounds like your numbers remain but the contacts disappear. This is resolved with a restart. Make sure that you have a recent backup of your device. If the issue remains after updating, you can Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support.

Thank you for the response but that is not what is wrong.
what is wrong is that the contact name and photo details disappear but the number remains. There is a fault with the device the IOS or iCloud services if the resolution is to reboot the phone once or twice daily.
Please dig a little deeper into your fault finding and database of known issues and try again. Many thanks.
