Note: This is a diagnostic test.
I'm not totally agree with the diagnosis. If there were problems with the SSD I think the error show by the Safari update would be other and I should have issues with other programs and applications, that is no the case. Any way I ran Disk Utility in Recovery Mode for both data and system partitions (my unit is APFS formated). There were some warnings or messages related with the Time Machine snapshots but at the end the resulta was that the disk is OK. I tried to update using an administrative account that should not start other services in background and no Time Machine disk attached. Same result.
Just for the record, I was finally able to apply this update. As the image shows, the issue reported by Software Update (or the installer) was related to the time when some file attributes were set. Thinking about this and since apparently neither there is no hardware problem with the disk nor the file system structure (and trying to update with an administrative / provided account or in recovery mode was unsuccessful), I decided temprarily
disable System Integrity Protection. After this, the update finished and Safari got updated. I know this is wierd and may not recommendable but this is what worked for me.
Thanks for your assistance. Here is the report (generated immediately after an update attempt).
