num lock option not available on Apple keyboard with Calculator keys

I asked a month or so ago about the numeric keypad on an APPLE USB keyboard. I use Quicken with a 2015 MacBook Pro. One day, without any apparent catalyst, the numeric keypad integrated into the Apple keyboard stopped functioning when using WINDOWS 10 AS THE OS FOR QUICKEN. I checked the keyboard on another Mac and the keyboard and numeric keypad portion of same works in MacOS but not MS Windows 10. The MS OS software being run through Bootcamp works well in every circumstance except for the numeric keypad. There is NO NUM Lock key, no series of other key strokes activate the keypad within Quicken/Windows 10. I am strictly Apple so I can't test the keyboard on a PC. I can't test Quicken on another Mac.

  1. Why would this suddenly change after years of successful use? There have been no variable changes. The equipment and software are the same.
  2. Since there seem to be no Apple solutions and the keyboard works including the numeric portion of the keyboard with MacOS, and the situation was spontaneous, what other tests could I run to resolve the issue. The numeric keyboard will not activate digits but the operator keys work (+ - etc). And the numeric keys above the QWERTY keys function.

Helpful thoughts?
