Finder view: split screen with file list below and image above

My old Mac had the option in Finder to show a list of files with details on the bottom part of window with the image of the file shown above. Why can't I find that option on my new Macbook Air (or, I guess, in this updated OS?)? It is by far the most useful view for me when working with images, I as I can see the list of files, with their details, while seeing the large image of the selected file above. I can easily navigate between a few different files to see the differences between them, etc.


If this option was removed from the current OS, please consider bringing it back!
