Notification that an e-mail has an attachment associated with it.

How can I get the paperclip or some other icon to display that there is an attachment associated with the e-mail. I just "upgraded" to Mac Big Sur.

I used to use the paperclip to help me find e-mails so I miss having it.

Thank you.

From what you describe —you are using the older "Column view."

You can right (Control )Click in the header area—this will open a contextual menu drop down. Select Attachment.

More than likely it will pop up on the far right— you can grab it and drag it to where you want to see it on the left.
