When i receive messages on my iphone the messages icon appears as a white grid icon instead of the green message symbol on my notifications and i’ve tried resetting my phone it’s getting annoying and idk what to do !!!

To confirm, do the icons appear normal on the Home Screen?
Try seeing if you can force close the app: Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch

Well I tried restarting my phone multiple times , i’ve closed the tab, it appears normal on my home screen but it just looks like a white grid when i get message notifications and it doesn’t go away :/
