I am using 12 pro max, I've received phone calls while the phone is in Airplane mode. That’s a landline call and I turn off my FaceTime too! How is that possible?
I do have Wi-fi on, but shouldn't suppose be in airaplane mode can’t receive any landline call? It is very annoying when I need silence and keep coming phone calls and it is always a scam call!
Your iPhone is in AirPlane Mode however you have Wi-Fi set to ON. You probably have Wi-Fi calling from your cellular service provider and it is set to ON on your iPhone. You can check by opening Settings ➔ Phone ➔ Wi-Fi Calling: This is probably set to ON. When WiFi Calling is provided by your carrier and it is set to ON, then ALL incoming calls (Landline and Cellular) will still reach your iPhone. Furthermore, you can also make outgoing (to Cellular and Landline) calls.
The option that you have is to set Wi-Fi Calling to OFF and this will limit all calls to the Cellular connection. Once your iPhone is in AirPlane mode then you will not be able to make or receive any calls.
