My deleted emails all reappear

I deleted my email's they keep coming back, I deleted the account from Google to delete all emails but they all come back have done it many times, help my disc is full!!

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15

Emails are going to trash I read a response to this question in this forum. My only concern is, will I lose all my emails if I remove the email account and reinstall it? I am also getting a message on each email I am trying to move telling me to send it to a new folder.

Go to your servers web email account and see if you can "archive" the mail. Then they should not download again. I know this works with Yahoo mail.
