Why am I unable to add my AOL mail accounts to Mail?

Wondering what you have already tried, and why you can't add the account to Mail.

Thank you for your reply, and for sharing the error message.

Seems your issue may be one of security ... you may need to log-in to your e-mail account at AOL,

and give permission in the settings there, to allow Apple Mail to access the account.

AOL will likely want to verify with you, that it is you granting the access to Mail.
