Cannot open iPad as fingerprint not recognized
Cannot open I pad, fingerprint not recognized and passcode will not accept touches either

I found an easy way to fix this on two separate iPads. When the iPads were fully charged but still plugged in, the fingerprint sensor wouldn’t work. I simply removed the charging lead and, hey presto, the fingerprint sensors worked again EVERY TIME.
