My incoming call volume is low. I tried to increase ring volume to maximum but still incoming ring tone volume is low. I have Apple I phone 12 pro.

Use the Vol Up button DURING a live call to increase volume of caller voice.

It cannot be increased at any other time.

The ringer volume will reduce as soon as FaceID realises you are looking at the phone .

If you don't want that then turn it off in Accessibility

I have an iPhone 12 and have been struggling for weeks to find a solution - the incoming calls were very quiet and I couldn’t turn them up or down. Sometimes it started loud then turned down. Here was my eventual solution - Go to:

Settings

FaceID and Passcode

Attention-Aware Features - Turn this feature OFF

This will stop the volume lowering when you answer the phone

It did in my case

Ok test it.

Place the phone face down have someone call it. Let it ring twice. Turn it over and look at it. Does the volume decrease? If so then the Attention Aware setting is still active. If it doesn't change then you simply need to crank up the volume.

(Settings, Sounds &Haptics, turn on "Change with buttons"

Then in Home screen turn it up with vol up button).

I hear same issue I turned off attention aware located in setting under Face ID then I went into sounds and haptics and ringer alerts make sure change button is on and raise the volume to one can hear announcements

You could edit the contact in Contacts app and make sure the ringtone is either default or an available ringtone.

If its on The volume gets reduced , if the phone is in the hand or near you.

But if the phone is away -it will have loud voice.

Better turn it off.

That answer is correct . I did have the same issue with the new iPhone 13 pro max , and the only thing that worked was turning off attention aware future !

Attention aware features affects Ring Volume, not caller voice volume.

If it is still too low take it back or have it repaired.

Ring volume is adjusted by the volume up button while in a Home Screen provided you have turned on Settings, Sounds and haptics, Change with buttons.

It happens! I think some people think we are Apple, where in fact we are fellow users trying our best in our spare time to help.

By all means come back with the test results, If you still have a problem you would be better starting a new thread with a full description than the full weight of the experienced volunteer members will see it and may have a better answer. This thread is really done now.

My selected rings and associated volume is too low. I cannot increase it so never hear when I have an incoming call. I was in the Apple store several weeks ago and now think when they fixed my issue, they created this one.
