AOL in IPhone mail

I’m having similar problems with my IPhone as were discussed years ago.

my problem seems to be that when I go to settings my main address does not show a password anymore. I can’t find any way to add it.

Only NOW AND AGAIN my emails won’t send and I have to try several times until they do because the other SSLs don’t require a password!! No idea what to do to fix it. I have the app now but have no clue how it works other than just to read my mail quicker!! I don’t know how to add my 5 other AOL addresses to the app nor do anything else!!!

it also tells me that if I delete the account and reinstall I shall lose all my notes on the iPhone for that address. That would be a nightmare!!

I also noticed that I no longer even have a tab for NOTES on my Mac book air. All my equipment is older 2014 Mac and IPhone 6s but I’m sure that can’t be the problem.

can anyone help please? Also can you direct me to instructions on how to use the AOL app?

Many people find the IMAP setting works better than AOL's custom setting in Apple's Apps.

Visit http://mail.aol.com/ to login your AOL account. In the help menu are all the settings for creating an IMAP based account in most email programs.
