Paramount showtime bundle has stopped working. New Episodes on paramount go to purchase app page and won’t play

Some news report appleTV has discontinued the bundle claiming it was only for a year. No email or notification has been sent by appleTV or paramount+, however. But new shows on it will not play and take you to the order page.

For some non-VOD Paramount+ content, e.g. live content, you may find better scheduling in the separate Paramount+ app, directly streamed from Paramount+ servers. Fortunately, Paramount+ allows Apple TV app Channel subscribers to create an additional Paramount+ account for use outside the Apple TV app. To do so, verify your channel subscription on the Paramount+ site. See, it makes sense! Please visit www.paramountplus.com/apple and follow the instructions.

we also have the CBS ALL ACCESS SHOWTIME bundle but it has NOT been a year AND it does not work properly for some shows, for example, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Sometimes it allows access the next morning, sometimes it is 24 hours later, and on some episodes, never allows access. Spent 2 hours on chat and phone calls with Apple support but no answers or feedback. They had me trying things that made absolutely no sense, like trying to logon to Paramount Plus with my Apple ID credentials. After all the years of using Apple products, this is new ground for such unsatisfactory support from Apple.

If your Paramount+/Showtime subscription is active, then you should be able to access their shows through the Apple TV app Channels.

If your bundle subscription has expired, then you may need to re-subscribe.

No confirmation from Apple or ViacomCBS has been reported yet, so it is all anecdotal and billing issues at this time.
