Adding Gmail Account

I am trying to add my gmail account into mail, but when it asks me to enter my email and i press next nothing happens. How do i do it?

If you're sure you tried (to no avail) ALL the steps provided here:--> Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
