Sharing a purchase app - Minecraft

I purchased Minecraft under my apple id. I have family sharing enabled. I created a shared family account apple ID for my son(6). I signed him in on an ipad. Now we can not open Minecraft on his device. "The app is no longer shared with you. To use it, you must buy it from the app store" We tried to Re-downloaded it and it stated "a family member owns it and you can download for free" - but then app does not open and says you no longer have shared access to app...

‘Any suggestions how to fix ?

Hi apayano,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having an issue with shared purchases on an Apple ID. We're happy to help.

We recommend attempting to download the shared purchase from the Purchased page. The article here has the steps to help guide you: How to download apps and content that your family members purchased

If the issue continues, check out the steps here: If you don't see your family's shared content The article here can also help ensure the purchase isn't hidden on your end as that would prevent sharing: What types of content can I share with my family?

We also recommend checking for any restrictions set for purchases or downloading apps: Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Best!
