FaceTime doesn't show any pop-up notifications on my MacBook Pro

the other day I was using my MacBook for some school work and later on I received a FaceTime call but it didn't pop-up on the screen. What it did was mark it as a missed called even tho on my iPhone it was still appearing that the person was still calling me. I try to change the Date and Time on System Preferences and still it doesn't work. I also did and update to the MacBook, restarted and it still didn't work at all. im thunking of taking it to a Apple store but if there anything that I can do from home please let me know.

Hello chrisbeato,

It sounds as though you’re not seeing incoming FaceTime calls on your Mac, but they do appear as a missed call. Apple Support Communities is a great place for help. Checking the date and time is a great troubleshooting step. Did you verify that Set Automatically was enabled? If not, do make sure that is enabled for the date and time. Also, have you verified that notifications are enabled for FaceTime in System Preferences > Notifications? If not, verify that is enabled. You can find more information about notifications on your Mac in the following article.

Have a great day!
