Apple Watch 6 battery draining in Watch OS 7.6.2

I did not have any issues with battery in watch os 7.5, or 7.6, but since I went to 7.6.1, 50% of the life is gone. Meaning my battery used to last from 7am until 10pm, without doing a workout or streaming music. By 10pm it would be about 35%, now it goes from 100% to 50% in like 4 hours.

If the battery drains too fast after an update, see all the replies to:

WatchOS 7.5 battery drain - Apple Community

FWIW, in some cases, unpairing the watch, completely erasing it, then pairing and restoring the backup will resolve the battery draining issue after an update. (Simply unpairing and pairing again may not work.)

Also, some people have found that simply waiting a few days after an update resolves the battery draining problem.

Before the watchOS 7.6.1 update, I typically charge the watch as I shower and I would usually have 80% battery life whenever I charged in the morning around 9AM and in the evenings around 830PM.

Since the update, however, the battery is drained to 50%! It’s terrible!

Whatever the update dis is consuming a ton of power. I hope there will be some kind of patch soon!

Good afternoon I’m having the same issue, I use to used my Apple Watch all day long at work and to workout and just charge it at night when go to sleep and having 30% of battery. Now after the 7.6.1 software update the battery drain so fast that by 3 pm when I get out from work is on 20% just using it to see the texts messages and notifications. Just unpairing the watch and erasing it don’t get rid of this issue.
