How to clear bluetooth device that isn't showing up in settings??

New iPhone 12 was restored using old iPhone's (8 or x, don't remember) data. Now, when trying to pair a smartwatch to the phone (that was paired no problem to the old phone), it won't connect.

When the pairing process is started in wear OS app, after clicking "Pair", it immediately says "Couldn't connect to carlyle", making it seem like it's not even trying (pictured below). Tried this many times.

The main issue is it states "Go to settings, and tap 'forget this device'" but the device doesn't show up in the Settings > Bluetooth list, so no "forget this device" button... (pictured below)

It ONLY shows up in the swipe-up quick settings, (in one of the pictures), which from there, nothing can be done, other than going to the main settings again, where the device is not showing. (pictured below)

I need to somehow clear the bluetooth devices, preferably without needing to factory reset.
