Moved default Download folder icon in Finder

I have successfully moved the default downloads folder on imac (using the terminal) to another location, but now in the finder, the sidebar 'download' icon that usually appears for the download folder has disappeared.

Is there a way to restore the default icon? Or can these only be accessed when the downloads folder is in a specific directory.
