Spam call?

I’ve gotten a call for someone twice saying they are from apple.com that “you have been charged $1299.99 on your Apple account if you have made this purchase on apple.com and recognize discharged and simply hang up and your order will be delivered,” I’m assuming it is fake. If it were Apple wouldn’t they reach out another way? Correct?

Phone call received about apple account order I just got a call "supposedly" from apple saying there was an apple order placed on my apple account for $2,999.99 and if i recognized it just ignore and they would ship the order but if not press 1 to talk to a rep. I just received a call from Apple saying I made a purchase over $1000.00. I hung up because I believe it was a scam. Do you know if someone made a purchase on my account? Would Apple call you saying you made a large purchase on your account? I believe it’s a scam. Is there anyway to make sure someone did not use my apple account?

Fraud I was charged from apple on a number 800-275-2273 and did not purchase anything I looked it up online and it says this number is committing fraud and to contact y’all for support.
