iPod Shuffle download music on my Mac

Hi guys,

I have a couple of iPod shuffle with a lot of music and I want to download everything, so, I won't lose the music I have. No all the songs were bought from the Apple Store. I have some music from my old CD-Rom or MP3.

I can't find a way to download the music. I tried to drag and drop the songs in a folder but it doesn't work. I tried to choose from the menu Import... but, apparently, it doesn't do anything.

Do you have any advice or solution? Thank you in advance.

Hi EnricoUK,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

We understand that you're trying to download your music library. You can burn a playlist to a CD and you can move your iTunes Library to a different computer. Downloading your music library isn't an option available. To move content from the iPod shuffle to your Mac it would have to be in disk mode, but even then generally you cannot move songs from an iPod or iOS device to a computer:
