What happens after bootable USB is plugged in? I just wanted to know what to do after I would plug in a bootable USB stick to a hard drive with no OS. I know it will boot but will I have to install the OS separately on the hard drive or after I boot will it just automatically install and run on the next boot without the USB drive.

Booting from an External Drive will depend if the computer has the>>>> Touch ID T2 chip <<<< or if not with the Bootable Installer attached hold the Option key immediately at startup which will present the Bootup Manager and choose the USB Installer
