How to add my Samsung M2020W printer to macOS Big Sur 11.01.1?

Updated to macOS Big Sur 11.01.1 and printer Samsung M2020W was deleted. Cannot add it back, any suggestions?

Which OS did you upgrade from before you installed macOS Big Sur.

Click on the link below to connect to the HP support site for your Samsun printer,

Click on Choose a different OS and you will see that the most recent OS this printer was supported under was

macOS Catalina 10.15.

Before upgrading your OS you are supposed to check that any third party software or third party hardware will still function

in the new OS.

Hi,


To begin with, you may want to try resetting the printing system and re-adding the printer. Check whether the operating system suggests a suitable driver. If necessary, power cycle the printer and the computer.

Interesting to note is that an earlier (Feb 11, 2021) V3.93.01 driver for macOS 11.0 appears to have been removed from the HP downloads page.
