Ive noticed that searching within VIP mailbox/filter in Mail yields no results despite clearly the email is in there. Im able to search within other mailboxes with no problems just VIP's I cannot. Is this meant to happen on macOS as I have no issues with VIP searching in iPadOS?
Also i'm getting some crashes with Mail lately. I didn't manage to copy the report but I do have a screenshot hoping someone can give me some insights on the cause of this.

The feature to Show emails from VIP senders in Mail on Mac is expected to work with macOS so if Mail is closing unexpectedly or a VIP search is not yielding any results, that is not expected behavior.
Try starting up in safe mode and then keep us posted on the results and whether or not the issue continues in safe mode.
