Profile
I cant edit my profile at all. The Edit button will not pop up, but when i go to apple music to join/make a profile. it says i need a subscription. i have a family plan with my family, so why can’t i edit my profile?

Did the Family Organizer follow these steps:
Set up Family Sharing - Apple Support
Get an Apple Music family subscription - Apple Support
Did you receive an invitation to join the family group and did you accept ghat invitation? See the 'Invite people to join your family' and 'Join a family group' sections in the first link above. If you followed all those, You might be able to fix your issue by turning Sync Library off for all of your devices, then turning it back on again. Learn how.
