Spatial Audio (Dolby Atmos) Channel support?

My theater consists of a 9.1.6 speaker configuration, if I buy an Apple TV and run Apple Music through the app and have it connected to my processor, will I be able to play Dolby Atmos music using all of my channels?

Spatial audio on older receiver Hi all, I play music on Apple tv 4k trough an Onkyo TX-NR616 receiver and I am a bit frustrated because I cannot deactivate multichannel audio, even if I set Dolby Atmos on off (this receiver isn't even compatible with Dolby Atmos standard). I use two full range speakers for listening music, and 3 smaller speakers for 5.1 content (with te full range ones for front left/right channels). If I turn off Dolby Atmos in settings (apps/music/Dolby Atmos/off) the sound still comes from all speakers. Is it possible to play spatial audio (dolby atmos) content from Apple Music in stereo on my setup? Thanks

Does Spatial Audio work with the Apple TV? That would make so much sense! Does Spatial Audio also work with the Apple TV 4K? That would be so nice to simulate a dolby surround experience.

Atmos & DTSX Apple tv can play Dolby Atmos Movie if i connect with my yamaha rxv683 Receiver it supports dolby atmos,
