IEEE1394 Firewire Driver

Anyone have any idea where I can find the IEEE1394 Firewire Driver ?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.14

If your Mac has a FireWire port, you don't need a Driver, because FireWire is "Bootable" -- that is, its Driver is already in your Mac's ROM.


If you are using an adapter, the adapter vendor either relies on the Apple Driver, or provides a Driver for their specific adapter.


what are you trying to connect to what?
