Ipad 8 mic issue

My ipad 8 microphone suddenly stops working after i updated the iOs and after restarting it starts working again. Is there any way to make it work?

It was working great with my iPhone 12 Pro up to iOS 15.7.1. Recently I updated to iOS 16.1.1 and the microphone no longer works. It is not recognized by any audio or video recording apps. Has Apple dropped support for the 30 pin adapter in iOS 16, or is this a bug that may be fixed in a later release?

IK Multimedia IRIG noise problem after IOS upgrade on iPhone 12 Pro I have a problem when using the following setup: (a) iPhone 12 Pro running IOS 16 (from the first to the latest 16.2) (b) Tonebridge app (c) IK Multimedia iRIG device + Lightning to 3.5mm jack convertor (d) Gibson lead guitar When playing the samples from tone-bridge, sound is perfect. When playing the guitar however, sound is crackly. It was perfect before IOS 16 (Same setup). Same setup works fine using Android phone insteat of iPhone. I posted under a different title - and got a few people posting similar issues. Does anyone know if this issue is sorted, or perhaps if Apple is releasing an update to solve this?

iPhone ear speaker not working after update The earpiece speaker on my IPhone 13 Pro stopped working after I recently updated my phone to the new IOS 16.0.02. There have been not settings changes, no physical damage and YES, I’ve already tried every single ‘fixing sound issues’ article on Apple Support along with YouTube. None of those things worked. I noticed several other forums and commenters who faced the same problem. Has anyone found a solution to this yet? Apple seems to be ignoring or avoiding the issue entirely [Re-Titled by Moderator]
