sbcglobal.net email access on iPad

All of my sbcglobal.net email accounts no longer work on my iPad. I tried "re-enter password." I deleted my email accounts and attempted the suggestions previously posted for adding the accounts. No matter what I try, I get to a point where I get a message "rate limited" and it shows it is trying to access api.login.yahoo.com. I can't get any further after this message.

Any recommendations as to what is causing this?

Sbcglobal or Yahoo support should be able to point you in the right direction, don't know if their account requires an app specific password or not.

I think I have found the problem. I attempted recommendations on this Apple Forum, and also was seeking answers on AT&T's forum. Both assumed it was something with the other. It appears to be neither. I tripped into a message from my VPN. I am not sure I have fully resolved it, but I added the domain to the VPN, and it let me finish setting up one of my accounts in Yahoo Mail app.
