My watch battery is draining faster since the last update (7.6.1). Anyone else having this issue and how can it be resolved?

If the battery drains too fast after an update, see all the replies to:

FWIW, in some cases, unpairing the watch, completely erasing it, then pairing and restoring the backup will resolve the battery draining issue after an update. (Simply unpairing and pairing again may not work.)

Also, some people have found that simply waiting a few days after an update resolves the battery draining problem.

So I thought I'd update. I did not have the time to unpair my watch, erase it and set it back up again so I just powered it off and then back on yesterday morning. It has been back to normal since. I am not saying that turning it off and on fixed it. It's more likely that it took a week for the issue to resolve but it won't hurt anything to power it down. Thanks for the repies and I hope everyone can get back to enjoying their watch.
