Double Click to minimize window to dock

I am running on Big Sur 11.5.1 os and want to be able to minimize the window to the dock by double clicking on the top of the window bar. I also want to get that feature back in photoshop 2021.

I had this set up on my old iMac but can't seem to figure it out on the new one.

Big Sur Dock Problem I recently switched to a different MacBook air running Big Sur. On previous versions the dock would appear when you moved your cursor to the bottom of the screen (location of dock) when you were in a maximized application, such as safari. But it does not seem to work on Big Sur. Is there anyway to change this? I know automatically show and hide dock exists but I don't like that fact that the dock is also hidden on the home desktop (desktop you first see when you login).

Stop macOS from showing a minimized browser window when the parent application is clicked on the Dock? I'm currently running BigSur, but this has been a long time annoyance for me. If I have a browser window of tabs minimized in the Dock and it's the last open window in the given browser, (for any browser I've tried), clicking on the application icon in the Dock (Chrome, Safari, Firefox etc), will restore the minimized window instead of just opening a new page. Rather than bookmarking a set of tabs to open later and then have to delete, I find it convenient to open and minimize tabs I'm not currently working with. I'd much prefer clicking on a Dock icon opening new windows and not pulling something minimized back up. Any system tweaks that might allow me to stop the default behavior? Thanks!

Move dock shortcut On my iMac under macOS 11.6 I created a shortcut to a particular webpage by selecting the URL and dragging it to the right side of the doc (the part to the right side of the divider). I have two questions: Is it possible to move the shortcut to somewhere in the left side of the dock? Can I change the shortcut's icon?

Lol thanks.

On my old computer it was already set up to work with the double click option and there was a separate thing that had to be done in photoshop. Never thought to check it had been simplified. Ha! I'm getting too old.

System Preferences > Dock & Menu Bar. Change "Double-click a window's title bar to": minimize.
