Google calendar keeps announcing a deleted contact's birthday. What is the fix?
iPhone 7, iOS 14
The birthday was attached to a former google contact. iphone is set to show calendar birthdays that are in google contacts. However, when a google contact is deleted, iphone continues to announce the birthday on it's calendar, while google calendar on a pc does not show the birthday. My ignorant guess = icloud is storing the previous google contact (including birthday) and deleting that contact from Google doesn't delete icloud. Any help would be appreciated.
I have this problem with Apple iCal. Deleted contact is deceased but birthday messages keep coming....
Sounds like something that you need to fix in Google. That calendar probably has it set as a recurring appointment.
